Great Lakes Automation Service Inc. designed and built a fully automated Inspection and Test module for Solenoid valves.
The solenoids were tested on a precision link indexing conveyor. Parts were loaded and unloaded from the conveyor via robots.
Cycle time on this system was approximately 12 seconds in order to meet production requirements, two parts were tested at a time.
Operations included component verification using vision, resistance testing flow testing and function testing. Parts that passed all testing were laser date coded.
