Great Lakes Automation Service Inc. designed and built a fully automated module to assemble, test and inspect automotive sensor assemblies.
Two different sizes of sensors were assembled on the equipment. We designed the system on a servo driven custom dial with a four second cycle.
Change over from one size to the other was done within minutes.
Operations included bar code reading, vision guided robots to load components, vision inspection and servo press integration.
